Design And Fabrication Of The System To Harness Cooling Effect By Evaporation Of Domestic Lpg
As the purpose of this project is to design and fabricate an easily maintained, low cost, refrigeration system. This project deals with the objective to make a e lectricity free refrigeration system. In this project the cooling by evaporation method is achieved. In this propane-butane mixture mainly known as LPG would be used as an alternative refrigerant to CFCs and HFCs in domestic refrigeration system. It would include e xperimental setup of working model and detailed obs ervation of the LPG refrigeration system and represents its application in hotel, chemical industries where requirement of LPG is more. By the expansion of LPG through throttling device and evaporation after passing through the evaporator the cooling effect is attained before utilizing the LPG further as a fuel. Hence no wastage of the refrigerant is there thus providing a LOW COST refrigeration system
