INTELLIGENTLY INVESTIGATING ROBOT SEMINAR REPORT

Abstract

The paper concerns to area of “saving the baby from bore a hole” using a Robot which is controlled through a system using wireless Zigbee technology and by using wireless camera we can view both audio and video inside the bore hole. This robot has a high power LED which acts as a light source when light intensity inside the pipe is low. The controlling device of the whole system is a Microcontroller. The user sends the task through zigbee which is interfaced to PC. This task will be received by the Zigbee module in the robot system and feds this to Microcontroller which judges the relevant execution. The wireless camera sends the images through AV transmitter system. The technical improvement together with the need of high performance robots created fasterand more accurate with high intelligent robots. This paper describes a new economical solution of robot control systems for different sophisticated robotic application.


INTRODUCTION

This paper involves developing a robot for rescuing a child from the bore hole. There are the situations some times when a child falls into the bore hole and to rescue him/her it may takes so many hours or days probably. In this kind of situation
the child may alive or dead it’s an un- imaginary. And also to
rescue in this situation it need a lot of man power. So to avoid that situation this robot will rescue the child with-in-the time. This type of robots needs high maintenance and low life-span for high intensity uses. This kind of system cuts down the man power and also the money spending on the different equipment’s at that time. This could be successful when applied in rescuing the child.


HARDWARE DESCRIPTION

1. Zig-bee:
Zig-bee is a wireless device which communicates between
transmitter and receiver.

2. ARM LPC 2148:
ARM LPC2148 is a 64 pin Micro Controller which comes under ARM 7 version of ARM processors. It comes under the
processor core architecture ARM7TDMI-S. It is a 32 bit
Micro Controller .This is intended for high end applications involving complex computations. It follows the enhanced RISC architecture. It has high performance and very low power consumption. It has serial communications interfaces ranging from a USB 2.0 Full Speed device with many UARTSand SPI, and I2Cs. Various 32-bit timers with a single dual 10-bit ADC and one 10-bit DAC with multiple PWMchannels and 45GPIO lines with 9 interrupt pins. 32 + 8 kB of on-chip static RAM and 512 kB of on-chip flash program memory


LED

LED’s are used as indicating lamps for many devices and are increasingly used for lighting and they have been introduced as a practical electronic component and these LED’s emittes low-intensity red light but modern versions are available across the visible and ultraviolet and infrared
wavelengths with very high brightness and the led indicators
have a life of at least ten years and consume 90 per cent less power than conventional indicators depending on the type of the materialsGa and As due to which the led gives the output in different colors


System with ROBOT


The above block diagram is a transmitter section. It is capable of moving the robot inside the pipe according to the user commands given from PC. The robot is operated through PC using wireless Zigbee technology and by using wireless camera we can view both audio and video on the TV. This robot has a high power LED which acts as a light source when light intensity inside the pipe is low. The controlling device of the whole system is a Microcontroller. Whenever the user presses a button from the keyboard of the PC, the data related to that particular button is sent through Zigbee module interfaced to PC. This data will be received by the Zigbee module in the robot system and feds this to Microcontroller which judges the relevant task to the information received and acts accordingly on the robot and arm movement. RESULT

The project “Bore hole rescue robot” was designed to construct a Robot which is capable of rescuing a child from bore hole. The robot was operated using computer wirelessly from a remote location. The system uses zigbee wireless
communication to transmit the data from the user to robotic
section.
