Wahid Sandhar Sugars Ltd produces and sells sugar in India and internationally. It offers refined sugar, white sugar, and retail sugar under the Wahid brand name. The company also offers ethanol products, such as industrial alcohol, rectified spirit, extra neutral alcohol, special denatured spirit, anhydrous alcohol, fuel ethanol, and portable alcohol; ethyl acetate; carbon dioxide; and bio-fertilizers. In addition, it is involved in the cogeneration of electricity and steam using bagasse, coal, and paddy husk. It has an exportable capacity of 96 megawatts. .
The Sugar Plant originally established in 1933 by Narang Group of Industries which was later on taken over by Oswal Group in 1989. The Oswal Group had expanded the crushing capacity of Plant for sugar cane from 1500 Ton per day to 4500 Ton per day with the latest state of art technology. The Plant was later on taken over by Wahid and Sandhar Group in the year 2000 and commenced its operation under the Flagship of M/s Wahid Sandhar Sugars Ltd. Since incorporation the promoters are running the business very successfully.
