Description of the project:

Our Project provides an integrated solution for supporting the operational needs of manufacturing industries. The system acts as an indicator of the performance of machines and becomes integral to the achievement of process improvement. Indiators of performance: • Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) • Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) • Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Mean Time Between Failure: It is a measure of reliability. It tells about how long a machine works. MTBF = Total Running Time / Number of failure Mean Time To Repair: It is a measure of maintainability. It tells about how long a machine takes to repair. MTTR = Total Time of Failure / Number of failure Overall Equipment Effectiveness OEE breaks the performance of a manufacturing unit into three separate but measurable components: Availability, Performance, and Quality. Each component points to an aspect of the process that can be targeted for improvement. Availability: It represents the percentage of scheduled time that the operation is available to operate. Availability = Operating Time / Planned Production Time Performance: It represents the speed at which the Work Center runs as a percentage of its designed speed. Performance = (Total Pieces / Operating time) / Ideal Run Rate Quality: It represents the Good Units produced as a percentage of the Total Units Started. Quality = Good Pieces / Total Pieces
