Women Security is basically an application based on android, which is being developed with a motive to ensure the safety and security of women at public places, especially the ones who work late night at call centers, B.P.O’s etc. The first half of the project focuses on Registration of the user whereas the second half concentrates on tracking the location of the person in case of any emergency. The Registration module will include the basic details of the person and her guardians. Through GPS technique, exact location of the person at the time of emergency will be traced, based on which, a text message and a call specifying the location will be sent to the parent’s contact number and to the nearby police station.
