Rejection comes in DIE-786 (Hub, RR Axle Housing) whose material is steel. This is a product of Mark Auto who is regular customer of Samrat Forgings Limited. These rejections give bad impression to customer, and also there is waste of: 1. Money 2. Manpower 3. Machinery 4. Material If your customer is not satisfied then your production is waste, to make our customer satisfied we have to improve our quality. So I took this problem and try to solve this. There can be any problem, like mismatch, pitting, undersize, oversize, material problem, die adjustment problem, etc. I want to find out main cause of rejection and work on it.

So,the project was a great success and it gives a great result,rejections reduced in large extent by doing work on these problems

Sfl product D-786 which constantly over aperiod of time was experiencing the defect in its production which was becoming a great matter of concern for the QA department which was getting complaints from “MARK AUTO”

By using SPC we find out root of problem and by implementing preventive method we reduce the rejection
