Samrat forging limited is one of the largest suppliers of quality forgings in the country it is one of the prime supplier of forgings of various dimensions profile and Faiveley Transport India is the regular customer of the Samrat forging limited. Knuckle pivot pin is the regularly manufactured product of Faiveley transport India in the company so there was a complaint received in knuckle pivot pin due to low hardness. If customer is not satisfied then there is wastage of Time Money Machinery Manpower So we took this problem and try to find out the solution of the problem and final results after the problem. So we try to eliminate the customer complaint and to stop rejection in knuckle pivot pin. Initially we done the product and process audit and we find the basic problem in heat treatment process. As we are assisting our training incharge so we also were a part of the meeting held in company by the technical officials of the company and there we write down the problems suggested by different technical officials and draw a fish bone diagram accordingly. The product and process audit was done and it was found that heat treatment process was not done properly.

A meeting was held by all the technical persons of the company and the reasons for rejection are writted down and a fish bone diagram is made accordingly.
