The Project allotted to me was �To make a Plastic Injection Mould for Body�. Body is a component of a Mixer or Mixie Switch for BAJAJ. To make the whole switch various components were needed. In total 7 moulds needed to be made one for each component i.e 7 components altogether made the Mixie switch. Other Components were Switch Top, Switch Bottom, Switch Spindle, Switch Wedge, Overload Cap and OL Pin. To make a mould for a component various steel plates of different shapes and sizes are needed. These plates are machined over conventional and CNC machines.
Details of the Project: I was given the project under Tool Room Department. I have been allotted with the project regarding making of a mould of Body of a MIXIE SWITCH.
