We were appointed on the site as a Trainee Engineer and my building was �A� type villa no. 50 A , 51, 52 ,53 , 54 , 55. Our responsibilities included supervision of the work going on the site according to architectural & consultant specification. Our duties are as follows

Ø Column Layout of my block.
Ø Check casting of columns.
Ø Checking the formwork.
Ø Checking of reinforcement of beams, columns as per drawing.
Ø Testing & checking of material used on site as per IS: 456.
Ø Check the shuttering of ground floor and level of shuttering.
Ø Prepare the daily dairy report day to day.
An engineer play very crucial and co-operational role in construction field and has to analyze the drawing according to local site conditions. An engineer is the only people who handle all the Foreman and labour.
