WAR FIELD SPYING ROBOT WITH NIGHT VISION WIRELESS CAMERA

ABSTRACT

The project is designed to develop a robotic vehicle using RF technology for remote operation
attached with wireless camera for monitoring purpose. The robot along with camera can
wirelessly transmit real time video with night vision capabilities. This is kind of robot can be
helpful for spying purpose in war fields. An 8051 series of microcontroller is used for the desired
operation.
At the transmitting end using push buttons, commands are sent to the receiver to control the

movement of the robot either to move forward, backward and left or right etc. At the receiving

end two motors are interfaced to the microcontroller where they are used for the movement of

the vehicle. The RF transmitter acts as a RF remote control that has the advantage of adequate

range (up to 200 meters) with proper antenna, while the receiver decodes before feeding it to

another microcontroller to drive DC motors via motor driver IC for necessary work. A wireless

camera is mounted on the robot body for spying purpose even in complete darkness by using

infrared lighting.

Further the project can be enhanced using DTMF technology. Using this technology we can

control the robotic vehicle by using cell phone. This technology has an advantage over long

communication range as compared to RF technology.

INTRODUCTION:

The main objective of the project is to traverse a robot in war field for spying using
a wireless night vision camera. This project consists of two modules one consist of rf
transmitter that is interfaced with microcontroller and some push buttons that sends
command signals to the robot via the rf transmitter, further, these signals are received by
the receiver, decoded and sent it to the microcontroller that drives the motor driver. The
whole path that the robot traverse is being seen by the wireless night vision camera that is
placed on robot and according to the live video send by the camera the direction is
traversed.
It is an automatic industrial machine replacing human in hazardous work.
Patrol the surroundings with sharp camera-eye. Send video and data captured to the server
Wirelessly.

that must be met, for reason such as safety and usability; others may have low or no
performance requirements, allowing the system hardware to be simplified to reduce costs.

popular research topic within the last ten years. There are now more mobile phone
subscriptions than wired-line subscriptions. Lately, one area of commercial interest has
been low-cost, low- power, and short-distance wireless communication used for personal
wireless networks." Technology advancements are providing smaller and more cost
effective devices for integrating computational processing, wireless communication, and a host

bomb disposal, narrow and small places…etc. This system works using a computer controlled
system trough which is done using electronic programming. Using camera attached to robot we
can view location where the robot is using this video we can wireless control and know location
details.
