SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Effective and efficient analysis of Trace metals, Flash Point, Pour Point, Calorific Value, Viscosity, Transformer /Hydraulic Oil, etc.
• Standardization of Atomic Emission Spectrometer(ICP) OES ,Oil Content analyzer, Bomb Calorimeter, Atomic Absorption(AAS) Gas Chromatograph(GC) Liquid-Liquid Chromatography(LLC),Sulfur Analyzer(XRF),Kinematic Viscosity meter,NMR, Mass Spectrometer(MS),GC-MS, Spectrophotometer(UV/Vis), Karl Fischer Moisture Analyzer, Oil in water analysis ,,Conductivity meter, PH Meter,
• Strong analytical skills to carry out all of the operations and actions at plant site and to make quick decisions in changing the circumstances.
• Monitor Control and Analysis of Raw water, Waste water, Water Treatment Plant, Boiler water & Steam, Cooling water and closed cooling system according to applicable standards and maintaining system chemistry within the recommended limits.
• Monitor and take the measures to maintain the chemistry of water system including Boiler Chemistry according to the standards and as required by the regulatory authorities.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Manage personal protection equipment (chemical suits, respirators).
• Providing Confined space entry, Gas free certificate etc. as and when required under the plant safety rules.
• Carry out all tests, analysis, measurements of Stack Emission, Noise Level, Liquid Effluents, Oil Content, BOD, COD, as stipulated by the Regulatory Authority.
• Understand OH & S risks/hazards and Environmental /legislative aspect / impacts related to work activities.
• Raise work orders for required operational preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Able to work and lead with the team of professionals.
• Maintain the record of calibration of its equipment and apparatus
• Laboratory equipment and treatment of chemicals and can prepare precise and dependable test results. Worked in combine cycle thermal/fossilized power station, handles analyses and monitors all chemical requirements for steam and water treatment of power plant and associated facilities in safe, efficient and economical manner.
