INTRODUCTION
The NIGHT VISION TECHNOLOGY is the recent technology, which is being used in automobiles.
With proper night vision equipments, the driver can see a person standing over 200 yards (183 m) away in the moonless, cloudy night.
Thus he becomes aware of critical situations much earlier and enabled to react faster to overcome them.
Night Vision covers pedestrians, animals and objects at the side of the road or on the road. They represent the greatest dangers, especially if they are located outside the cone of light shed by the headlights.
ADVANTAGES
The biggest advantage of adoption of this technique is reduction in road accidents.
With help of this system, drivers will be able to follow the course of the road with greater ease, see other road users as well as other obstacles more clearly for a distance of up to approximately 150m.
