Abstracts: Remote Desktop using Mobile is a project designed for handling computer with the help of a cell phone from a remote location, for security and access of contents of your computer. The main aim of making this project is facilitate the user to interact with its personal computer without actually being physically present over there. This report is having the description of the entire steps covered in accordance of completion of project. We have kept everything simple and strictly according to the format. The project came into the mind when we thought of a process of integrating two most emerging technologies i.e. internet and mobile technology. We sorted out the benefits of integration and started our project work. We have first find out the way to generate commands on mobile and then send those commands to the remote PC and on the remote side, we develop of a function that automatically reads the new arrived mail and then execute the corresponding command on the system. The whole process of two-way interaction involves integration of the above two technologies and many isolated techniques to provide an efficient service. There is a lot of scope of learning in the project which involves technical aspects of J2ME (Java 2 micro edition) programming, use of POP (Post Office Protocol), developing and calling web services etc.
