Abstracts: Any web application can succeed when it meets the needs and expectations of users. The GUI of a web application is the main thing which can attract the users/viewers of our web application. When it is easy to modify and even easier to use it can and changes things for the better. But an application fails when its users/viewers are dissatisfied, when it is error prone, when it is difficult to change and even harder to use. We want to build such an application that makes things better. And for that we need an engineering approach. This project provides all the requirements that a user/viewer needs for purchasing an art by online art gallery application. The main problem is that every one of us facing today is the problem to spare the time. So one can save his/her time by purchasing art which provides online facility to purchase. One needs not to go anywhere. Here, this project provides the selling of handmade art, natural pictures, various types of gifts, toys, posters, greeting cards etc. Here, viewer of the site can view all the things but if he/she wants to purchase then he/she has to register on this site and then all the things can be purchased. Here user can view the size, price and small snap of the picture and this snap can be zoomed also. User can make payment online. At back side, the admin has all the authority to do change, deletion and addition to the gallery. Here, an artist can add his art for selling. For this also, artist has to register himself. At the back side there are other users too like DBA, finance manager etc. DBA manages the database centrally and finance manager manages the finance needed for dealing with the shipping companies and also the payments received by customers. So after the execution of this web application, any person need not to go anywhere for purchasing art so the time can be saved.
