Abstracts: The impact of environmental degradation is predominantly experienced in urban regions. The crisis scenario encompassing population, pollution and energy have raised a question on sustenance of man. This project work addresses various environmental threat raised in urban regions and finds solution in integration of urban planning with sustainable development. To exemplify such advance a model Ecocity has been developed keeping Indian scenario in consideration. Complete integration of sustainability at various echelons of human societies have been advocated. Components of a Ecohouse are explored and prospect of Eco-technology is further discussed. This project makes effort for a holistic approach needed to change the headway of human civilization.
