Abstracts: Spray cooling is a well known, environmentally benign technology that can be employed for producing a Comfortable condition in outdoor environment. A dust particle is a fine particle that is released and/or transported into the air through various industrial processes, automobiles, manufacturing of chemicals and other products. Dust collection is a very major problem. This device includes the processes of heat and mass transfer and collection of dust where air and water are the working fluid. The water droplets evaporate in the airstream to reduce the air temperature and the dust is collected with the help of a blower. The system possesses the advantage of additional heat removal that is thought to be due to the high latent heat of water droplets and the evaporation cooling in surroundings. After dust is formed, this system is used to reduce dust emissions. Although installing this system does not assure total prevention of dust emissions, but besides its application as a dust control system it can also protect workers and often provide other benefits which are described in detail in this report.
