PROJECT DETAILS:
PROJECT TITILE:- Power quality improvement of grid connected WIND
ENERGY SYSTEM by using statcom.
DESCRIPTION:- The generated power from renewable energy source is always
fluctuating due to environmental conditions. In the same way wind power injection into an electric grid effect the power quality due to the fluctuating nature of wind. This project
shows the existence of the power quality problems due to the installation of wind turbine
with grid. In order to mitigate this power quality problems this project proposes a scheme
based on facts devices called statcom.

• Participated in electrical expo in an event named veda at Aditya engineering
college.
• Participated in power point presentation in an event named greeekz at Kakinada
institute of engineering and techonology.
