Abstracts: There has been a shortage of construction material .the high consumption of the building materials has lead to the chronic shortage of the construction materials .concrete is such a type of material which has a capacity to absorb waste besides a capacity to retain lots of energy.if the waste material is used as a supplementary material by replacing the natural basaltic aggregates by the quarry waste i.e.stone chips aggregates.then it would lead to techno economic utilisation of waste materials in the construction industry.the study concerns with the use of stone chips aggregates as apartial replacment of natural basaltic aggregate for the rural road construction.
