Abstracts: The main purpose of designing this Robot is to place and extract the disc in Power Press Automatically. Power Press is the machine which is useful to punch the metal disc of various size in various design according to requirement. We use the separation mechanism to separate the disc at the input side. This mechanism will also place the disc in the power press. For separation mechanism we use electrical system which guides the slider movement with the help of DC motor. Power press processes on disc as per requirement and then robotic arm will pick up the punched disc and stack it. Electromagnets are used in this Robotic arm to attract the punched disc and place it at the collecting point. Robotic Arm also comprises of H-Bridge Circuitry which would help it to move in Forward & Reverse direction. Limit Switches are used to stop the arm at specific position. We also use proximity sensor to sense the presence of disc at the input side. We use IR Sensor for detection of motion of separation mechanism. We have also used Relays to switch from one voltage level to another voltage level. If there will be an error in system, then buzzer will sound and LED will flash to attract the attention of the operator. The complete Synchronization and controlling of the system will be done by PLC.
