Abstracts: Indo-German Tool Room is located at Vatava GIDC phase-4 in Ahmadabad. Company manufactures a product on simple conventional milling machine and CNC milling machine. The product has angle surface on all faces. Company has two CNC and conventional milling machines in which table can be tilted in only CNC milling machine. Due to some circumstances in conventional milling machine, machine’s table cannot tilt in any angle. The company gave the design of the product and told us to develop a fixture to reduce the machining and clamping time. They used conventional clamping device and Angle plate for clamping the product. They take 24 hours for making one product. So develop such a type of fixture that we can utilize the conventional milling machine. After many hours of thinking we made design of the fixture. In this fixture they can hold the job in angle by adjusting simple screw nut mechanism. We made design in Pro Engineer (Pro-E). In starting we faced many problems to design the fixture for such a complicated product design. There is no any existing design idea for fixture. But at the end we have designed three fixtures. These three fixture design helped for machining the different sides of the product. The concept of adjusting and clamping is same but the design is different.
