Abstracts: This guide is written to show the steps to develop a Remote Projector adapter device, using an x86 board. Using a proper hardware platform, with Windows Embedded Compact 7 (Compact 7) support, and the Compact 7 development environment, you can easily develop a Remote Projector solution. Using an X86 board as the target device, this guide provides information and works through multiple exercises to show the step to build a Remote Projector adapter device. After completing the building process , you can transform the x86 into a fully function remote projector adapter device, which you can use existing projector with remote projector feature. The Remote Projector feature provided in Compact 7 works with the supportive function built into the Windows 7 and Windows Vista operating system for the PC, which enable a Windows Vista or Windows 7 PC to display the desktop through the Remote Projector device, via a wired or wireless Networks.
