Abstracts: Tracking and Counting System works on concept of live tracking of vehicles through GPS devices. In vehicles live tracking, this system concentrate only on bus transport system. Location tracking of all running buses can be possible by this system. Other important thing is it includes passengers counting system. So system gives number of passengers travelling in bus at current time. Using sensors or by some other concept this requirement will be achieved. Passengers are the end users of the system. They get all the information about buses. They finds all available buses for particular routes. All information about any bus like bus timing, fare details, distance of travelling and more. Passengers get live location of bus and approximately right arrival time of bus. They don’t have to wait any more. They get perfect information on hand using this system. Admin of particular bus stop can update bus information and many other required updates are provided. Admin can perform update, delete and insert details of buses, routes, fare, timing etc. Admin has his individual login for updating system up to date. System contains very nice and easy user interface. General user inter face for passengers is providing in system. General users means passengers understands system very easily. They get bus details and location of bus by map also. Another user interface for admin is also very easy and attractive. Admin can update system very easily. System uses GPS Technology, IR Sensors, MicroController, Web technologies, MySQL database which is most important part and provide services to passengers with web interface on hand. It will be available on web so passengers easily get access of system through mobile phone and computer using internet.
