Abstracts: Virtual University encourages the user for learning various short term courses online at their places and give online exam for such courses. Register user can access various e-learning materials any time from the learning portal. With the help of the virtual university portal the students has flexibility of enrolling themselves online and can easily avail the guidance of the instructors at any time and they remain updated about all the academic courses and curricular as well as extra curricular activities going on in their respective university. This invention comprises a software learning engine offered online via a network of multimedia nodes. The learning engine can provide an educational experience wherein interactive lessons are utilized and content is designed in cooperation and partnership with academic institutions. Course content can include building blocks of knowledge and be delivered using multiple vehicles. Degrees are granted entirely through online courses.University functions such as registration, administrative tasks, and purchasing course materials are also accomplished online.
