Abstracts: People of Vijalpore village of Navsari are facing acute problem of traffic at railway crossing at Vijalpore road in Navsari. The main reason for problem of traffic is stoppage of more no. of trains which results in restriction in movement of people through railway crossing. People have to wait for several minutes to pass railway crossing. Also the underpass near railway crossing is small and water gets accumulated in rainy season. Drainage system for removal of water is not proper near underpass. To solve this problem of traffic, planning of Flyover Bridge over railway crossing may be viable option. For planning of bridge a site visit and traffic survey at railway crossing should be carried out. Also for planning of fly over bridge over railway crossing basic rule and standards in bridge design as per Indian standards code should be considered. From above information possibility of a fly over bridge over railway crossing at Vijalpore road can be find out easily as well as presentation of planning of bridge by making a model can be done.
