Abstracts: At Himadari Chemicals liquid Beton-Sp is produced which is a dispersing agent and is used in the construction for the strengthening purpose. In this paper, a technological scheme for the manufacture of beton-sp is studied. The plant utilities for the production of powdered beton-sp are also described. The major drawback of the spray drying plant is it’s less efficiency. The spray drying process used is not efficient. This problem can be solved to a great extent by increasing the efficiency of the spray dryer used in the process down the line. A feed stream containing beton-sp is subjected in the spray dryer unit where it is converted to powdered form from the liquid form.During the process it was observed that the traces of products were lost due to fast moving air and due to it the efficiency of plant was less.Here the spray dryer is redesigned so that it efficiency to convert liquid beton-sp to powdered form may be increased by which the performance of spray drying unit can be enhanced.
