Abstracts: This paper offers an overview at the technologies for sulfuric acid production. The technologies discussed are solid yellow sulfur from sulfur storage yard is charged to sulfur melting section. This section is provided with stream heating coils and an agitators for melting of solid sulfur. In effluent treatment plant (ETP). The technology discussed is domestic waste water process waste water, cooling waste water. The major drawback is that the composition of H2SO4 going in the waste acid tank is 85% (W/W). This can be solved by to increase. The temperature in evaporation tank to reduce the moisture and to achieve 98% (W/W) sulfuric acid.
