Abstracts: ? The report gives the information about the different effects on non-engineering structures generally occur due to earthquqke, cyclone and tsunami.Most of the damageoccurred on non-engineered structures,which were built traditionally with very little or no assistance fromqualified engineers. ? Studies show that problems for these structures were caused by minimum reference to standards/codes, lack of detailing, wide variety of quality of materials and construction methods,and improper structural design. ? This Report also includesnon-engineered structures tend to have low structural quality and to be susceptible to earthquake and methodology of retrofitting techniques.This report also gives the solution techniques against occurring in retrofittingof non-engineering structures in detail.
