Abstracts: During the analysis of the bitumen sprayer we found that some problems of choking of asphalt in the strainer, circulating line & between pump and tank is created in the cold season due to improper density and temperature of the liquid asphalt during the work and before the work start. So this problem can be eliminated by using the advanced technology such as Instrument/ electronic sensors / system with automation and modification of process. The role of sensor in this system is to make this system automatic by sensing the density and temperature of liquid asphalt. When the liquid asphalt get denser in cold season during the work between the tank and pump, in strainer and circulating line if we put the highly accurate density meter, insulator and heating coil the current problem will be eliminated.
