A complete layout was proposed to convert the existing Tata Nano into Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV) and torque boost to achieve better fuel efficiency and pollution norms, In this project a motor was connected directly to the transmisson line to drive the vehicle at motor mode at low speed and switch to engine mode at higher speeds, Motor will be run by plug-in rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries
