Involved the following tasks:- 1. Prepare and Bench test new EZ1 sonar sensors, installing and using test software provided by supplier. 2. Analysis of the bench test to establish behaviour of new sensors. 3. Design and install new sonar array on the robot "MugiRo", including safe and robust mechanical mounting. 4. Develop and test C++ Program for new motion behaviour and integration with existing agent based system. 5. Design, prepare and conduct final test experiments on the mobile robot to verify performance of new motion behaviour.
