Abstracts: Energy conservation is burning topic in todays fast developing world.without effective and efficient use of energy our world will face catastropic result. There are many ways to conserve energy but the most influencing is led.our project deals with energy conservation through led lighting. Our project deals with energy conservation trhough led street lighting.we have gathered data from rajkot muncipal corporation (rmc). We have concluded our topic through demonstration of led lighting over conventional street lighting.our project also entails the disdadvantage of conventional lighting methods which include high pressure sodium lamp (hps), cfl. We have depicted advantages of led ligthing over conventional lighting according to criteria of cost effectiveness, pollution and power consumption.
