Abstracts: We visited Kemrock Industries & Exports Ltd. and observed manufacturing process of blade and root ring. Belt arrangement is used to lift the root ring after demoulding of it. We observed that there are many problems associated with this method such as handling of the root ring while lifting, more manpower is consumed and there is chance of deformation. To eliminate these problems, the fixture is required to lift the root ring. With the help of fixture, root ring can be handled in a better way and accident can be obviated, it can be designed such that chance of deformation and men power can be reduced. On the completion of the project we will design a fixture which can eliminate all the problems associated with the existing method.
