Abstracts: Due to excess of humidity in the atmosphere or due to excess of water content in the surrounding air, the laser cutting process of the diamond is affected and leaves a black or a grayed colored spot is created within the feather of the diamond surface which makes the whole piece a waste. The temperature on the surface of the diamond when it undergoes the concentrated laser beam reaches to 600 to 700 degrees of centigrade and whatever comes in between the surface and the beam vaporizes instantly and remains/impurities gets stuck on the surface of diamond which makes a ugly impression and alters the shine and mechanical properties of the piece. This can be solved by dehumidifying the air of the room in which the “Quazer” machine is kept. The dehumidification is to be done via refrigeration process in order to maintain the desirable ambient temp of the machine.
