Abstracts: With development of technology and economy the selection of material play an important and vital role. The cheapest and easily accessible material is plastics today which are recyclable too. During recycling of plastic electrical energy is generally used and so the cost of the products increase. The objective of present work is to develop such plastic disposal and recycling system based on solar energy which is economical and eco- friendly. Solar parabolic dish concentrator is a device to collect solar energy with high intensity of solar radiation on the focal point. This project mainly concentrates on the detailed study of various types of solar parabolic concentrators, and fabricate of a parabolic dish type concentrators and conducting its performance tests. The report has been divided into five chapters. The first chapter gives information regarding solar energy and its development in India-Gujarat. The second chapter is about design and fabrication of solar concentrators. The third chapter illustrates various recycling methods of plastic wastes. The fourth chapter includes experimentation, testing and results. The last chapter concludes the whole project report entailing with references used at various level of projects, findings and conclusion.
