Abstracts: In the Filler machine which is one of the product of KHS Machinery Pvt. Ltd there is use of distributor, the function of which is defined by its name. It allows the flow of beverage, cleaning agent, and CO2 to the bowl of machine in the required time intervals. The Media Distributor of Filler has got a very complex construction with many seals which make the testing of the distributor, prior to mounting on the machine, a very important process. if we don’t do so then during running condition if any leakage found after mounting it on the machine, then it will be a great loss to the company because it takes too much time to demount and change the seals in the distributor. At present, the distributor is tested manually, only in the stationary condition, using a manual hand pump for injecting pressurized water into the distributor for “Hydro-Test” for checking any kind of leakages in the distributor assembly. And this pressure is kept constant for the 4-5 hours. By developing a test rig, the distributor can be checked not only in the stationary condition but also in the rotary condition, with exposure to maximum friction as that of in the real operating conditions. Also, the manual pumping of water will be replaced with motorized centrifugal pump, which will make the existing cumbersome testing method into a very easy, time - saving and hygienic one. With the help of this test rig it can be ensured that each media distributor is checked thoroughly prior to mounting on the machine.
