To study the manufacturing process of cylinder head by Low pressure die casting and analyse the cycle time of the casting process. The process was analysed and attempts were made to propose the possible reduction in the cycle time henceforth increasing the efficiency of the process. The time reduction possible was found out to be 30 -42 seconds for manual die casting process and 44- 55 seconds for automatic die casting process.
