Abstracts: AIM: The aim is to prepare a Green building design which could be implemented in Indian conditions and cater to Indian needs. OBJECTIVE: Green buildings are designed to reduce the overall impact of the built on the environment, human health and the natural environment by: a)Efficiently using energy, water, and other resources b)Protecting occupant health c)Reducing waste, pollution and environmental degradation The principal objective of this project is to design a Green Building: G+1 building with 3BHK. The availability of such a building with various green systems will enable high-efficiency environment friendly houses based on water conservation and recycling units with other features as well. The various houses and residential zones will make wide use of this new water entrapping, managing and recycling capability with energy efficient appliances and features installed to increase energy conservation capacity too. The recent years has seen an increase in the awareness about need for environmental conservation. This has made the prospects of such buildings quite amicable. The future of our civilizations depend on the judicious use of our natural no renewable resources and enabling reuse wherever possible. The incorporation of such systems into a building design fosters such practices and also reduces the environmental impact of the built on the environment allowing nature to prosper. Thus establishing such technologically advanced and environmentally responsible build is a step towards a safe and prosperous future and thus must be advocated.
