Abstracts: The demand for electrical power generally is increased at a faster rate in economically emerging countries. The networks of electricity companies become very complicated. A power system network consists of number of equipments which are very necessarial and essential to operate. For this purpose many electrical and mechanical types of equipment are used. The cable reeling drum (CRD) is specialized application for power transmission and it serves winding and unwinding of the cable automatically while the drum body provide the required storage volume. In industry basically two kinds of CRD used are monospiral and parallel. We are going to make a model using various tools like fuzzy logic, MATLAB, Creo etc. to identify and predict the behavior of cable reeling drum for various sizes of cables.
