Abstracts: Fly ash is waste material of thermal power plant in large quantity and also it is creating serious environment pollution, it utilize as raw material for making bricks which similar to the clay bricks which is lighter in weight and stronger compare to clay bricks. That way disposal of fly ash easy, also help in environmental pollution control to a greater extent in the surrounding areas of power plants. 5000 acres of top layer of soil dug out for getting annually approx. 340 billion tons of clay and we consumed 180 billion tons of clay bricks. Emission from coal burning or fire woods which causes deforestation are the serious problems posed by brick industry. The above problems can be reduced some extent by using fly ash bricks. The object of this project is to information about Fly Ash bricks and plant, properties and their uses in a most concise, compact and to the point manner. And also in this project various experiments were carried out on fly ash bricks samples. Some of them are Compressive strength study, water absorption study, soundness test, hardness test, Efflorescence test etc.
