Abstracts: The complementary nature of wind and solar determines the advantages of hybrid power generation systems. Off-grid wind-solar hybrid power generation systems are very important for remote areas. This Project summaries the structure of off-grid hybrid power generation systems. First energy consumption data of village are described in detail. And then the design of off-grid wind-solar hybrid power generation systems, including design layout, capacity configuration of different parts and features of storage energy systems, is analyzed thoroughly. Through the analysis of different operation modes of the system, require plant capacity and costing of system has been carried out at last. The results of this study can be used to get familiar with technologies as well as application of theories into practical work. In this report off-grid wind-solar hybrid power generation systems are mainly focuses on Rural Electrification.
