Abstracts: The component named Bush Pin of Everest Kanto Cylinder Ltd. This component is of Die Steel (AISI D2), during manufacturing i.e Open Die forging under steam operated pneumatic press, there are surface cracks developed in bush pin. So an attempt is to be done to remove surface cracks by controlling the process according to standard method and to try to do simulation of bush pin in simulation software like Ansys.
