Abstracts: RFID Vendor System is a software system made particularly for middle and small shops and is based on Radio Frequency Identification Technology (RFID). This system is connected with the various components like RFID reader/detector, RFID tag and software. Using this system any shop’s customer can request for a money account in the shop. Shopkeeper would then make an account for that particular customer using this software and customer would then deposit some amount of money in advance to the shopkeeper as account’s money. The shopkeeper would provide that customer with an RFID card in return which would help to access the account. Whenever a customer with an RFID card enters the region of shop, the RFID reader connected with this software would automatically detects that card. Hence, this system would show the list of all the available customers holding RFID card. As soon as the valid RFID card is detected, the shopkeeper would be able to access the account of that particular customer. Hence, the customer would be able to buy any product from the shop using the account’s money. Then that particular product’s price would be deducted from the account and customer needs not to give the cash. There would be an SMS facility provided with the software for security purpose. Once any transaction is made to an account, the customer would automatically get a message on his/her mobile phone having the information about latest transaction made. RFID Vendor System would be easy to use, user friendly software which would help a shopkeeper and a customer to carry out their respective day to day jobs more fluently and easily.
