Abstracts: Crowd funding is an increasingly popular method of raising capital over the internet from the mass market. Its earliest successes have often been with social or art-based projects. But it is now emerging as a fund-raising method for start-up companies or other commercial projects (this kind of Crowd funding is also called "Crowd Investing").
