Abstracts: Here, in this concept we are designing the pedal powered washing machine with simple mechanism by using bevel gear and converting spinning motion of the horizontal shaft of bevel gear into spinning motion of vertical shaft of bevel gear, with the help of pedalling operation. It is easy to operate and working principle of the machine is very simple. Just put down the cloths in to the drum and add required water in to the washing drum. Start to pedal the pedalling system,to operate the pedaling system the user straps two loops of rope ,which is binded in the threads made in the pedaling shaft into his/her feet and moves his/her legs up and down. When pedalling system starts to rotate it will give motion to the propeller of machine. Finally to drain the clothes the clockwise motion of the drum is made by rotary motion of the pedaling shaft.Thus, it enhanced the clockwise and cost is free. anticlockwise rotation for the operation of washing clothes ,as well as the one sided rotation of drum to drain the clothes. No electricity will use in entire operation, thus its running
