Abstracts: A project is based on “To improve the performance of the laser welding machine” at Essar steel Ltd, Hazira in CRM plant at ECL line to join the coils. Present system of the joining of the two coil or strips with either manual welding or laser welding. In manual welding there may be very time consumed, so the welding may not uniform. In manual welding system is very hazardous, expensive, time consuming, non-uniform and unreliable. To use of the laser welding machine to join the two coils in all the steel industries are achieved high Tensile strength of the joint, less time consume of the joint, less hazardous, more reliable and fully automated. But, now a days at Essar steel Ltd, Hazira in CRM plant at ECL line in Laser welding Machine there may be miss alignment of the laser welding machine component like clamps height, welder axis, Neutral fiber, Clamps dies profile , cutting head and clamps distance. Here we are suggesting the twin spot welding for the accurate & high strength joint. There by removing the misalignment between the strips
