Abstracts: The final year project presented by our team is based on identification of the industrial problems and bringing the solution to it. Our project is on Production of soldering stick through automation. This project deals with a brief overview of solders and its manufacturing problem. For the project we have carried out detailed literature survey to study the design procedure of furnaces and arrangement of dies and rotary table. We studied soldering problem encountered during manual pouring and in detail to find the major failure. The attempts to encourage the use of Furnaces to avoid the embarrassment of discovering problems (i.e., defects, failures, etc.) in the field. The project will be beneficial in the various methods viz. increase the rate of production, reduce the labour skills and cost along with highly reliable and reproducible process. On a longer run it is going to save a large amount of capital of the industry.
