Abstracts: •Detailed study about water supply scheme of “STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION OF WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM IN RURAL AREA”. It consists various problem rellated to the water supply in the area of Dang-Ahwa District to overcome the different problems. • The problem are mainly undulating topography, Excessive run-off , Poor aquifer conditions due to hard rocks, Low recharge of groundwater due to steep slopes Erratic rainfall in most of the districts, Scattered habitations , Migratory attitude of the tribes, Deforestation due various land use, Low rate of literacy, No access to any perennial source/ river Deterioration of groundwater quality. • As mentioned above, there is no systematic internal distribution network up to the user’s house. At present, people are not getting sufficient / regular water through an old internal distribution network in this village During the summer and monsoon season, it become very difficult task to go for taking water.Therefore, the people of the village have to collect water direct from other resources. It is very tedious hard work wasting the time and man energy. After considering all these above-mentioned factors, it becomes compulsory and necessary to adopt suitable arrangement of internal distribution network to minimize and overcome the difficulty of local village women.
