Abstracts: This Project report is for the partial fulfillment of the requirement for the degree in Civil Engineering at Government Engineering College, Godhra. We are greatly thankful to the faculty and management of Government Engineering College, Godhra for providing me such an opportunity to present this report thereby giving a chance to get practical exposure. The government of Gujarat has launched “Vishwakarma Yojna” (a scheme) for development of villages by identifying the requirements of villages. Under this scheme, the villages are surveyed and this project was identified and selected for implementation. Urbanization is to bring peace of mind to the villagers by providing them the basic amenities required and still keeping the village soul intact. It is about finding out what the basic facilities are present and what can be provided to betterment of the village. The present resources are made to such a use that it gives its cent percentage usability with sustainability. Total five Students of GEC, Godhra are associated with Vishwakarma Yojna for three villages of Panchmahal district as Vandeli, Kelamul and Gothib. Under this project a detailed survey and analysis for the proposed villages is about to be carried out such as water supply system, water harvesting, Irrigation schemes (by canals, ponds, tube wells etc.), Road network, Primary School, High School, Anganwadi, Higher education facilities, Electricity facility, Present condition of Govt. buildings (such as Panchayat office), Public Utilities (such as community hall, garden, public toilets), conventional energy schemes. And with this survey the necessary lacking amenities are to be proposed to carry out for the same. Thus, the project is mainly aimed to take part in Urbanization of undeveloped villages for the welfare of society.
