Abstracts: In the present project, we have presented a fixture that will be very useful in manufacturing process of Steam Turbines. Basically, in parts like Compressor, Turbine inlets, Valve Chests etc. a large accurate hole is required, which is done using boring machine. But it is observed that when the boring is done from both the sides, there is a minor misalignment due to the slight bending of spindle, which is mostly not possible to correct. Due to which, at Power plants leakage occurs , and industry engineers are required to go there , stop the work and repair it , due to which heavy loss occurs financially and mainly reputation of industry. So, we have a fixture, which will indicate the amount of inaccuracy during manufacturing process only, and the correction can also be done at the same time. SO future problems related to it will be avoided and Financial and Reputational benefit will be to the Industry.
