Abstracts: Online cabs booking is an innovative idea for booking cabs online just on a mouse click. Now a days we have facility of booking tickets for trains and flights online which is generally called as “E-ticket”, when the field of travelling and the present facilities available for it is considered. Also cabs play an important role when travelling is concerned. So as nowadays tickets for trains n flights can be booked online, there should also be a facility of booking cabs online. If we talk about its use to the society, we know that present era is an era of E-commerce. People in many developed countries prefer to buy a product using internet service if the required service is provided. Our concept is somewhat concerned with the above discussed matter. People often prefer cabs for travelling shorter distances within the cities as well as for longer distances. Although one can get cab easily for travelling within the city but for longer distances one has to book a cab from any travel agency by personally contacting the agent either by face to face or a telephone call conversation and discussing about all the formalities i.e. fare, quantity, type of the car, distance to be travelled etc where the customer ends up being cheated sometimes in terms of fares and also the facilities provided. By having the online platform for booking the cabs, the facilities provided and the fares charged becomes an open affair for all the customers and hence we can resist the chances of being cheated and additionally get the facility of booking the cabs on a click.
